CANNED FOOD DRIVE
Even when we can't house people we try to help them with food. We also try to give a supply of food to those moving on from the Center. The following items are always greatly appreciated.
Items Needed for Valley Restart Shelter
NON-PERISHABLE FOODS
Can veggies
Macaroni and chesses
Box potatoes (mashed, Au Gratin, scalloped)
Spaghetti noodles
Spaghetti sauce (with meat).
Hamburger helper
Tuna helper
Powered milk
Cereal
Oatmeal
Sugar
Dry beans
Rice
Pepper
Jelly
Peanut butter
Can meat (whole chicken, Spam, potted meat, canned tuna)
Canned beans (Baked or pork and beans)
# 10 cans of Ravioli
# 10 can of spaghetti O's
# 10 can of Baked Beans
Can soup and (Top Ramen and or cup of noodles.)
Egg noodles
Baby food for all ages (baby cereal, rice or oatmeal)
Easy made deserts (Jell-O, pudding, cake mix with frosting)
Powdered drink mix (Pre- sweetened lemon aide, tang, sweetened kool-aid)
MISCELLANEOUS
Plastic Forks, knives, spoons
Styrofoam plates (8 8/7”) bowls, cups (8 oz)
Paper plates (for lunches)
Napkins, paper towels
Bath towels
Blankets
Good strong can openers
Men and women socks
All size Diapers, deodorant, razors, shampoo, crème rinse
Please keep in mind that we cannot accept food that is opened, dented or without a label. Thank you so much for all your help.
